The provision of system Hardware, DataCube licences and support which enable the categories, indexes and interfaces to support the DataCube applications and consultancy services.
The DataCube Appliance gives the capability to:
Creates of a map of all the data which will be used in the DataCube applications.
Complete Location map of their file system(s), file types, duplicates, unused files, corrupted files, unauthorised file types, aged files, inaccessible files and an aged profile of the usage of individual files.
It also gives a lightning fast search capability with its Interrogation capability–exemplar based or free-format, again based on content (and content concepts), keyword, meta data and combinations of the former interrogation of the entire data set, irrespective of its structure.
Interrogation capability also includes the ability to understand the data set giving access to the e-Discovery, Email threading searches by content and/or people across the organisation and incoming mail systems, textual duplicates and near duplicates, Meta data tagging.
The DataCube Appliance module also hosts the Dashboard function.
The system is refreshed by DataCube Services to maintain optimum performance in a scheduled update call at least once a quarter. Boolean search finds documents based on specific shared character strings. If your search term doesn't exist in a document or search engine dictionaries, you'll never see it. In contrast, concept search returns relevant documents regardless of shared terms or even a common language. It gracefully handles degraded documents, such as those processed by OCR, where Boolean search quickly breaks down.
